Let’s shift the narrative from self-reliance to stewardship. The “Wait” isn’t just a gap in your timeline; it’s a divine appointment. Waiting can feel like a grueling discipline, but if we shift our perspective, we can see it all in a new way. The grueling discipline can now feel like the peace of God’s sovereignty.
We often treat waiting like a prison sentence, counting down the days until we are “released” into our purpose. I am definitely guilty of this; but in the Kingdom, the wait often IS the purpose. The weight that you are feeling right now isn’t meant to crush you; it’s meant to ground you in the only foundation strong enough to hold what’s coming. You (and I) are waiting on the one who holds the weight!
We serve a God who is never in a hurry, yet is never late. If He is making you wait, it isn’t because He’s withholding – it’s because He’s preparing. He is pruning the ego that would take the credit for the win. He is strengthening the character that will have to sustain the blessing. And most importantly, He is teaching you that He is enough even if the “big break” never comes.
