I’m Skyler; I’m 32 years old at the moment, and this blog is all for the glory of God.

I’m a born-again, Bible-believing, Jesus-loving, God-fearing woman who is a preschool teacher by day. I’m a wife, a daughter, a sister, an aunt, and a best friend who, unfortunately, knows quite a bit about waiting.

My husband and I have been trying to grow our family for five years now. I pray for my baby every day. I have wept until the salt became my second skin. I have begged and pleaded; I have tried to bribe and bargain. I’ve made promises that I wasn’t sure I could keep. I have received prophecies, word after word, and still, I wait.

But the thing about me is, my faith is unwavering. God is still good to me and He will always come first, even as long as my womb and my arms are empty. I write for Him and I will continue to write, even if no one else reads it; but I do hope that you will come with me along this journey as I see where this path will lead.
